Hand turned English patterned beech bowl.

This small, low and shallow bowl is from a piece of English beech. I designed these shallow pieces with he intention of displaying small items like jewellery. The patterns are caused by a disease which grows into the wood grain, this is called ‘spalting’. The result is unique and rare lines and shapes.
